Katherine was born in North Carolina and raised in both North Carolina and Alabama. She is the only girl, with three wonderful brothers, and very loving parents. Katherine’s father served in the US Army and was a pilot for 52 years. Her mother is a business woman who owned her own family business and is now a care giver for an Elderly Center. Katherine graduated from High School in 1979 and from Troy University in 1983 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She married her High School sweetheart, Clark, and has lived in Arizona, Arkansas, Texas and California while he pursued a career as a pilot in the Air Force.
Katherine accepted Christ at the age of 11 at a Billy Graham Crusade in NC. She was blessed with a Grandmother who loved her unconditionally and taught her how to have a true relationship with Christ. Her Grandmother served in Children’s Ministry for over 60 years and was Katherine’s biggest influence and inspiration. Katherine always wanted to be like her “Nana “and follow in her footsteps by teaching children about the love of Jesus. Katherine has served in Children’s Ministry for over 20 years and it has been God’s gift to her.
Katherine has been married to her sweetheart, Clark, since 1983. He was an Air Force pilot for 11 years and has been a pilot for Southwest Airlines for 17 years. She has been blessed with three amazing children: Katie, Kristen and Clark. Her children truly love the Lord. Her daughter Katie serves alongside her at The Pointe.
